Even though it's a small hotel, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. the bathrooms are clean and functional, and the air conditioning kept us comfortable during our stay. the best part was the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It felt like dining with family in the restaurant, and the home-cooked food was fresh and satisfying. the pool, though small, was inviting and a great place to relax. the presence of a coop with chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs in the garden was a delightful surprise.
If I had to come up with a negative aspect, it would be the beds. They weren't the most comfortable for my personal preference, but that varies from person to person.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Zanzibar in Landeira. The room was clean and comfortable, with a minibar in case I needed anything. The staff was friendly and even though I don't speak Portuguese, we had a fun conversation. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially the chicken dish. The swimming pool and beautiful garden added to the relaxing atmosphere. The location was perfect, with easy access to Alentejo and Lisbon. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Casa Zanzibar for one night on our way to Ponte de Lima. The turismo rural site had 8 rooms around a courtyard, each with a sitting area outside. Our room had comfortable twin beds, cable TV, a hot water pot, and a spacious bathroom. The property was quiet, surrounded by a fenced-in area with roosters, chickens, and ducks. The breakfast was delicious, with juice, coffee, breads, homemade jams. Adeline, the hostess, was gracious and made us feel welcome. We would love to spend several nights in this peaceful country environment.
Can recommend this hotel.

Nice room with good amenities and a beautiful pool area. the hotel was located in a good area that was close to transportation and shops. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. the pool area was beautiful and we enjoyed spending time there.
Poor dining options and limited food availability. Unfortunately, the dining options at the hotel were very limited and not very appetizing.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the delicious breakfast with homemade jams, cheeses, meats, and cereal. The staff were gracious and helpful. We also enjoyed the clean room with comfy twin beds, cable TV, and hot water pot. The hotel facilities, including the pool and hot tub, were well-maintained, and the grounds were nicely landscaped with Mediterranean plants.
Nothing, no complaints at all. This city is a quiet and calm environment, perfect for a relaxing stay.

the staff spoke multiple languages and went above and beyond to accommodate our infant son. the breakfast, which was well worth the cost, was delicious with a variety of options. the property had a lovely garden and a clean pool that we unfortunately didn't have time to use. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a charming sitting area outside.
It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again. Cons: Nothing to dislike.
